Tessa Simeone went to College of Charleston for her undergraduate education where she studied psychology. She then obtained her master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel. Tessa has also received two certifications in training from MUSC in Cognitive Processing Therapy as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Throughout her internship experiences in graduate school, Tessa has worked with families, adolescents, and couples who sought treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and other mental health concerns. Tessa also has experience working with people who have struggled with addiction. Tessa has always had a passion for the mental health field and believes that by helping others find the right tools they can achieve their therapeutic goals.
