Kathryn Grogan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker trained in Clinical practice. Kathryn was raised in Northeast Columbia and has provided a variety of services to children and adolescents in the Midlands for over 15 years. Kathryn and her husband still live in the area with their 2 young children. Prior to her work with SMC, Kathryn was a school based Mental Health Counselor with Lexington County Community Mental Health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She has provided Early Intervention services to young children with Developmental Delays and their families through Easter Seals. As a Social Worker at the Palmetto Health Medically Fragile Children’s Program, Kathryn assisted families dealing with new diagnoses and navigating medical and behavioral issues. Kathryn specializes in counseling Attention Deficit issues, Anxiety, Trauma, Bereavement, Parenting and Developmental Delays.
