Emily Long was born and raised in the Batesburg-Leesville community. Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2005. Immediately following undergraduate study Emily entered graduate school at South University where she was awarded a Master of Art in Professional Counseling in 2008. Emily has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2017. Emily has always had a passion to help people and has worked for SC Mental Health, Vocational Rehabilitation, Babcock Center and The Nurturing Center. Emily believes building rapport is the most important function to helping support people to make positive changes in their life.
