Danah Hassouneh was born and raised in Charleston, SC. Danah attended the College of Charleston and received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2020. Following undergraduate study Danah attended The University of South Carolina, School of Medicine and was awarded a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Counseling in 2023. Throughout her graduate study she had the opportunity to work with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department and with a Rehabilitation Recovery Center. Danah has experience working with people with disabilities, and people in recovery from addiction. Danah strives to be multiculturally aware and wants to ensure that she is creating a safe and open space for all individuals.
